Glass Bends
Glass bends are specially manufactured, and are most common in shop fronts, or similar commercial enterprises. In order for the glass to be bent, it must be heated very close to it's melting point. It is then fed through a machine that creates the glass bend using a pre-defined gradiant. Once this process is complete, the glass is usually chemically toughened, as the glass is not suitable to be toughened with heat, as the glass does not lie flat.
Battle boarding up services
If you’ve had an accident late at night, we won’t be able to replace your glass immediately. In this case, we will board up your window with plywood boards to maintain security, and arrange for the glass to be fitted once it is available. We operate a 24-hour* rapid-response Battle boarding-up service, to give you peace of mind when you need it most. We can also board-up large Battle commercial premises when the owner has vacated the building, or is in the process of a large-scale refurbishment, where the building needs to be protected against squatters and other intruders. All boarding-up jobs in Battle and the local area include a free quote on replacement glass if required.
